At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

• Identify patients at risk for massive hemorrhage who may require activation of the Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP).
• Safely administer blood products and medications in accordance with MTP guidelines.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork and closed-loop communication among interprofessional team members during the management of a massive hemorrhage and MTP event.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive neurovascular assessment for a patient at risk for compartment syndrome.
• Demonstrate timely assessment, escalation of care, and implementation of appropriate interventions for a patient experiencing compartment syndrome.
