Georgia has issued a series of continuing education requirements for licensed professionals. Advocate Health has several offerings to help our licensed professionals meet these requirements.

Requirements are subject to change. Each professional is responsible for verifying and meeting the requirements for their specific licensure.

 

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs):

Nurses

Pharmacists: 

  • Continuing education must be obtained through ACPE-approved providers and be relevant to the practice of pharmacy. Georgia does not mandate specific topic requirements for all pharmacists, and CE may be completed through a variety of approved formats.

Pharmacy Technicians:  

  • Continuing education must be obtained through approved providers and be relevant to the technician’s role. Georgia does not mandate specific topic requirements, and CE may be completed through approved formats. 
  • All required CE hours may be completed through home study or approved self-paced formats.
