SC09 - Acute Anesthesia Provider 100
In this course, participants will learn how to locate patients using the Status Board, review clinical data, document a pre-op assessment, anesthesia plan and place pre-op orders. Participants will also learn how to link the monitor to Epic to automate the collection of vital signs, record intra-op documentation including medications, events, positioning staff, airway, blocks and blood administration. Participants will also learn how to place post-procedure orders, modify active orders, document line removal, complete a post-procedure evaluation, document the end of anesthesia care and complete charting. In addition, participants will create templates using macros.

This course is intended for Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and Anesthesiologist Assistants

- Operate the EMR in a safe and efficient manner
- Review clinical information effectively
- Accurately create, edit, and document procedures and diagnoses
- Correctly order tests, medications, and prescriptions
