Update on Pancreatic Cancer Multidisciplinary Treatment Symposium
This conference provides a comprehensive update on the multidisciplinary management of pancreatic cancer, focusing on the critical roles of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and gastroenterology. Emphasizing the importance of a collaborative approach, it also explores the expanding utility of molecular testing in guiding treatment decisions for improved patient outcomes.
This conference is being held in-person (Christ Medical Center) and virtual.
Target Audience
This course is intended for physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Demonstrate proficiency in leveraging a multidisciplinary team approach for optimizing pancreatic cancer care.
- Describe the essential roles of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation in the comprehensive treatment of pancreatic cancer.
- Evaluate the expanding role and benefits of molecular testing in informing prognosis and therapeutic strategies for pancreatic cancer.
