This program provides a clinically focused, forward-looking review of key advances in cardiac electrophysiology and their implications for patient care now and beyond. Through evidence-based updates and practical discussion, participants will examine evolving ablation strategies, device and lead technologies, arrhythmia monitoring, and emerging therapeutics, with emphasis on risk stratification, guideline-directed decision-making, and real-world implementation.

 

This conference is being held in person and virtually.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Summarize recent evidence and guideline updates that influence contemporary electrophysiology practice.
  • Select appropriate diagnostic and monitoring strategies, including wearable and implantable technologies, for common clinical scenarios.
  • Apply current best practices for catheter ablation, device therapy, and physiological pacing, including patient selection and procedural planning.
  • Integrate shared decision-making and individualized risk assessment into stroke prevention and sudden cardiac death prevention strategies.
  • Identify emerging technologies and research directions likely to shape electrophysiology care over the next 3–5 years.
