Together As One Peer Support Program 2021
The Together As One Peer Support Program program introduces evidence-based techniques that equip professionals to respond effectively in a crisis while also engaging in skills that build resilience to cope with chronic exposure to stress.
This peer-support model creates a culture of compassion and helps staff learn how to care for each other in the demanding, difficult, harrowing and crucial work that we do each day.

Target Audience
This course is intended for Invited individuals throughout the System - physician and non-physicians.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Define the Stress Response
- Describe and identify symptoms of stress and maladaptive coping responses in themselves and others
- Identify adaptive coping strategies to improve resilience and reduce negative impact of stress in their lives and to be of support to their peers
- Identify adaptive coping strategies to improve resilience and reduce the negative impact of stress.
