Smart Chart Ambulatory Provider 100

In this course, participants will learn how to use basic Epic functionality, review the patient’s chart, document an office visit, and order entry. Additionally, participants will learn how to document on the problem lists and diagnosis.

Ambulatory Physicians, Residents, Fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers (APP's)

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Operate the EMR in a safe and efficient manner
  2. Review clinical information effectively
  3. Electronically order appropriate tests, including lab and radiology studies
  4. Electronically order medications and prescriptions
  5. Electronically document all care that was provided in both inpatient and ambulatory venues
