Rx for Resilience: Prioritizing Psychological Safety

January 8, 2025

Overview

In an increasingly complex healthcare environment, the importance of psychological safety cannot be overstated. This upcoming lecture for members of our pharmacy organization aims to illuminate the concept of psychological safety, emphasizing its critical role in fostering effective communication, collaboration, and innovation in pharmacy practice. Beginning with an introduction to psychological safety followed by exploring the profound impacts of psychological safety on healthcare delivery, team dynamics, and individual well-being, highlighting its role in enhancing patient care and fostering collaboration. Attendees will learn practical strategies for creating a psychologically safe environment for teammates, residents, and students, as well as ways to address and integrate psychological safety within our organization. Finally, we will identify valuable resources to support ongoing efforts in cultivating a culture of psychological safety, empowering participants to implement these principles in their practice.

This conference is being held both in-person and virtually.
