Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Outline the definition of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and its place amongst the World Health Organization (WHO) clinical classifications of pulmonary hypertension.
  2. Recognize current treatment options for PAH and their place in therapy.
  3. Evaluate recent literature that support the use of new PAH medications.
  4. Recommend new PAH therapies when presented with a patient.
