Preceptor Essentials March 19, 2026
The course will provide the foundational knowledge of the preceptor in alignment with the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Preceptor Competency Consensus Study.

Target Audience
This course is intended for Nurses, Medical Assistants, and clinical teammates selected by their leaders who are responsible to orient and train a new teammate within their scope of practice.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Recognize attributes, roles, knowledge, skills, and behaviors of an Advocate Health Preceptor
- Utilize tools necessary to create a safe, accountable learning environment
- Promote learning and provide verbal and written feedback
