Pediatric ECMO Water Drill/Simulation Series January 11
Emergency exercise sessions will consist of simulation training in the management of the ECMO patient and ECMO pump. This one-hour Water lab/ ECMO simulation session series:
- Will allow each individual hands-on experience
- Will provide the specialist with a full understanding of all possible circuit emergencies, and the appropriate intervention should be accomplished by the end of the session.
These sessions will take place in one-hour increments from 0800-1700.

This course is intended for Nurses who are ECMO specialists
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- All learners will have increased knowledge of management of the circuit and patient, with validation during acute events with a simulated ECMO patient.
