Pediatric and Neonatal Resuscitation Emergency Medicine Simulation 2025

This will be an opportunity for Emergency Physicians to participate in simulation of pediatric and neonatal emergency procedures and resuscitation. During this 3-hour session in simulation lab, attendees will work together to perform rare emergency procedures, resuscitate a simulated pediatric patient, and resuscitate a simulated neonatal patient. We will also review airway management and intra-osseous line insertion on neonatal and pediatric mannequins. Content experts will be on site to guide the resuscitation, procedures and small group discussions.

This course is intended for physicians.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

Perform a complicated emergency pediatric resuscitation
Perform a neonatal resuscitation including airway management and I/O access while following PALS and NRP guidelines
