Patient Experience Simulation Lab 4/27/2023
The purpose of this interactive experience is to create positive patient experiences through communication skills, compassion and best practices within a safe learning environment.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for all Nurses, CNAs, and other interested clinical team members in the Racine and Kenosha Patient Service area who have already completed the Create A Positive Patient Experience activity.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this simulation, learners should be able to:
- Participants will be able to demonstrate effective communication and personal interactions via use of: AIDET, Listen, Explain, Validate, Teach Back Method, Commit to Sit, Managing Up, Heart-Head-Heart communication methods, and integrate Service Recovery into applicable encounters.
- Participants will demonstrate effective use of best practices, including but not limited to hand hygiene.
