Overview of Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Recorded Session
The conference provides a comprehensive, clinically focused update on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, with an emphasis on evaluation, diagnosis, and emerging treatment approaches in primary care. Participants will review current epidemiology, early identification strategies, and practical tools for cognitive assessment, including brief screening instruments and diagnostic workflows. It will also explore advances in biomarker testing, evolving therapeutic options, and evidence-based approaches to care planning and risk reduction. Faculty will highlight real-world considerations for integrating these developments into routine practice, including communication of diagnosis, patient and caregiver support, and interdisciplinary care strategies. Designed for clinicians involved in the care of adults at risk for or living with cognitive impairment, this program emphasizes practical application, clinical decision-making, and improving outcomes across the continuum of dementia care.
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, nurses and other health care professionals.
