Oncology Nursing Certification Review Course

August 3, 2023 to August 4, 2023

This 2-day course will review the six major subject areas included in the OCN test content outline (Test Blueprint).  Topics include: care continuum, oncology nursing practice, treatment modalities, symptom management and palliative care, oncologic emergencies, and psychosocial dimensions of care. Teaching strategies for this particular course are designed to allow participants to self-identify knowledge gaps and enhance test-taking skills in preparation for the OCN certification exam.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for Registered Nurses requiring continuing education credit toward certification/re-certification and registered nurses seeking a comprehensive review of oncology nursing.

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify knowledge gaps and enhance test-taking skills in preparation for the OCN certification exam or certification renewal.
