North Region Echocardiography Symposium 2025
This symposium aims to provide comprehensive review of echocardiography, including cutting edge information and management regarding valvular heart disease, infiltrative cardiomyopathies, cardio-oncology and case base demonstration on the role of 2D, 3D and strain Echocardiography.
This conference is being held virtually.
NOTE: Please note this activity will be presented 4:00pm – 8:00pm CST / 5:00pm - 9:00pm EST
Target Audience
This course is intended for physicians and other health care professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Discuss latest advancements in echocardiographic technologies, including 2D, 3D, and strain imaging, and their clinical applications in diagnosing valvular heart disease, infiltrative cardiomyopathies, and cardio-oncology.
- Evaluate the role of echocardiography in guiding minimally invasive interventions, such as Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER) for mitral regurgitation and transcatheter tricuspid interventions, to improve patient outcomes.
- Analyze the role of echocardiography in cardio-oncology, with a focus on the detection and management of cardiovascular complications in cancer patients.
- Apply contemporary diagnostic and management strategies for cardiac amyloidosis, utilizing advanced echocardiographic techniques to guide clinical decision-making.
- Develop an understanding of case-based demonstrations of complex echocardiographic scenarios, fostering the integration of new imaging strategies into everyday clinical practice.
