This course is designed to present new developments in the field of cardiovascular disorders and their clinical applications to encourage discussion and promote improved patient outcomes in all our practices. We have chosen topics and presenters to cover the latest in familiar topics as well as map out areas of frontier exploration. This activity is designed for family practitioners, internists, cardiologists, emergency department physicians, and advanced practice clinicians as well as other interested health professionals.

Target Audience

This course is intended for nurses, physicians, pharmacist, pharmacy techs, and other health care professionals.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify current treatments in five most common vascular problems
  2. Interpret the indications for action in treating cardiovascular disease
  3. Compare new treatments in cardiovascular disease
