Target Audience

This course is intended for all physicians including generalists, neurologists, intensivists, radiologists, and pathologists, RN's, PA's, NP's, RTT's, and various other members of the health care team.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe how Guideline committees determine class of recommendation and level of evidence and how to apply this to clinical practice
  2. Discuss changes from the 2015 guidelines to 2022 guidelines
  3. Review the most impactful recommendations
  4. Understand knowledge gaps in the recommendations and opportunities for future research
