Presentation to discuss Prognostication in the Neuro-ICU, particularly with regards to patients with devastating brain injury secondary to subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral hemorrhage, and acute ischemic stroke.

Target Audience

This course is intended for all physicians including generalists, neurologists, intensivists, radiologists, and pathologists, RN's, PA's, NP's, RTT's, and various other members of the health care team.

  2. Recognize the strengths and limitations of current prediction models
  3. Discuss the role of DNR orders on prognostication
