This presentation will review the ways Neuropsychology contributes to the presurgical work-up of comprehensive presurgical cognitive evaluation, Wada testing and cognitive mapping with sEEG.

Target Audience
This course is intended for all physicians including generalists, neurologists, intensivists, radiologists, and pathologists, RN's, PA's, NP's, RTT's, and various other members of the health care team.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Discuss patterns of cognitive deficits in epilepsy
- Highlight opportunities for expanding our cognitive assessment during sEEG mapping (and intraoperative mapping/monitoring, as indicated)
- Review case examples demonstrating how:
- Neuropsychological test findings inform understanding of cognitive risk/prognosis with epilepsy surgery
- Individualized cognitive mapping can reduce the risk of a wide range of potential deficits
