Multidisciplinary Excellence in Breast Cancer Care 2026

Charlotte, NC US
September 25, 2026

This system wide educational event is designed to advance shared learning, collaboration, and innovation across all sites involved in breast care within our network. The program brings together breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, genetic counselors, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, and other multidisciplinary team members for a comprehensive update on best practices in breast care.

Participants will engage with expert faculty and invited system leaders to explore the latest advances in surgical and systemic therapies, breast imaging, high risk genetics, pathology, navigation, survivorship, rural health disparities, and quality and accreditation standards. Interactive breakout sessions and roundtable discussions will support meaningful dialogue and help translate emerging evidence into daily clinical practice. The conference will also highlight ongoing research, quality initiatives, and innovation across our system, including high risk pilot programs, genetics service development, disparities research, geographic variation in recurrence patterns, and institutional publications. Networking opportunities will foster connection and collaboration across sites.

Designed for internal clinical teams committed to delivering exceptional, evidence based breast care, this hybrid program supports professional development, quality improvement, and alignment with NAPBC and CoC standards. Whether attending in person at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte or virtually, participants will gain practical insights that strengthen multidisciplinary coordination, promote equitable access, and improve outcomes for patients across our region.

This conference is being held in person & virtually.
