Target Audience
This course is intended for physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Describe the concept and clinical relevance of disease modification in myeloproliferative neoplasms.
- Compare and appraise disease‑modifying treatment approaches for MPN, including stem cell transplantation and other advanced interventions.
- Determine appropriate therapeutic strategies for patients with MPN based on currently approved treatment options.
- Review and interpret emerging data on novel agents and therapeutic strategies in myeloproliferative neoplasms.
- Recognize and address management considerations specific to younger patients diagnosed with MPN.
- Discuss evidence‑based approaches to the diagnosis and management of less common myeloproliferative neoplasms.
