Morris M. Goldberg Symposium: The Doctor – Patient Relationship and How it has Changed

The program will be 3 hours long, beginning with an introduction it will be followed by three speakers who will each talk about the doctor – patient relationship and how it has changed especially in this time of a pandemic. Afterward the three speakers will convene together to answer questions from the audience.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Describe the Doctor - Patient Relationship Historically
  • Recognize the Barriers that currently exist that diminish the Doctor-Patient relationship
  • Discuss strategies to overcome existing barriers
  • Interpret how these barriers and strategies directly impact our own practice satisfaction
