LGH Critical Care Simulation 2025: October 29
This course is a LGH site specific critical care course offered to all nurses in the critical care division. This course is a two-part simulation including 4 simulations incorporating ICU knowledge to manage and care for critically ill patients and critical care devices. Learners must attend both parts 1 and 2 in order to earn contact hours.
Target Audience
This course is intended for Critical Care Nurses.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Apply critical thinking skills to work through critical care patient scenarios
- Assess the critically ill patient to provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Utilize resources such as PolicyTech and EBSCO to provide evidence-based care
