Lean Green Belt Certification Training

The Aurora Health Care Operational and Medical Group leaders believe this learning and experience supports work necessary to identify, implement and sustain continuous improvement efforts that advances Aurora’s Best Value and Best People Strategies. Equipping key leaders with Lean skills will support Clinical Integration and Operations Optimization.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand Lean behavioral and cultural concepts, including continuous improvement, team leadership and change management
  2. Recognize that Lean aligns efforts to organizational vision and strategy, provides a framework for process improvement and standardizes and sustains work 
  3. Appreciate and map current and target state, flow, value streams, 8 types of waste, variation, voice of customer, Kanban and visual controls, mistake-proofing and Lean and Six Sigma principles and lessons learned in the Lean journey
  4. Direct project selection, analysis and implementation, use of A3, Kaizen, determine return on investment and measurement and communication of outcomes
