Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Recognize eating disorders as contributing cause of obesity.
  2. Recognize Emotional Eating and how to treat using an integrative medicine approach
  3. Recognize the Healthy Me Coaching services and how to refer
  4. Apply motivational interviewing to the patient visit regarding their weight and treatment plan
  5. Review specific examples of how to introduce dietary and exercise counseling under evidence-based recommendation
