Head and Neck Cancer Update 2025

This course addresses the challenges experienced practitioners face in caring for head and neck cancer patients. It highlights an interdisciplinary approach to their diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. The course covers cutting-edge conservation, surgical, and nonsurgical treatments, along with corresponding functional outcomes and evidence-based interventions, providing a comprehensive overview of optimal patient care.

 

This conference is being held at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa; Forum in person and virtually.

Target Audience

This course is intended for Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Cancer Rehab Specialists, Dieticians, Speech Language pathologists, and other interested health care professionals. 

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe considerations when building a multi-disciplinary team to treat head and neck cancer. 
  2. Describe the treatment considerations and protocols involved in oncological rehabilitation including lymphedema, myofascial release, respiratory training, and dysphagia.
  3. Identify emerging diagnostic and treatment options that involve immunotherapies, radiation, and surgery for head and cancer.
