Patient Experience Simulation is to provide an opportunity to experience what it feels like for our patients and their family when they enter our hospital. Our goal is always to provide an exceptional patient experience. We are going to give you an opportunity to practice many different tools that you have to provide that great experience. These exercises are intended for you to gain an understanding of a hospital stay from a patient and a family members perspective.

 

Target Audience

This course is intended for physicians and APCs.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

1. Effectively speak to Advocate Health High Reliability Tools and Tactics
2. Identify areas to make adjustments to their skills and strategies when communicating with a patient and/or family member
3. Improve patient outcomes and creating a positive patient experience as noted in voice of the patient feedback.
