Fundamentals of Fetal Echocardiography Conference
This conference will provide the foundation training in fetal echocardiography for healthcare professionals involved in prenatal care. Attendees will review key imaging techniques, fetal circulation and rhythm, and the evaluation of cardiac anatomy and common congenital heart defects. The course blends current guidelines with practical insights to enhance diagnostic confidence and collaborative care.

Target Audience
This course is intended for physicians and other health care professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Describe the key updates in the 2023 American Society of Echocardiography fetal echocardiography guidelines.
- Recognize normal and abnormal fetal cardiac anatomy and rhythm using standard imaging protocols.
- Apply cardiovascular profile scoring to assess fetal heart function.
- Demonstrate appropriate use of M-mode, Doppler, and other echocardiographic tools for fetal cardiac evaluation.
- Identify indications for referral to pediatric cardiology based on fetal cardiac findings or risk factors.
- Integrate comprehensive fetal echocardiography techniques into clinical practice to improve the detection and management of congenital heart disease.
