Foundations of Role Development March 20, 2025
This foundational course provides core concepts and principles of leadership for emerging nursing and clinical leaders to prepare them for a future leadership role to drive positive change within their healthcare teams. This blended course consists of one-hour of prerequisites and the virtual two-hour course.

Target Audience
This course is intended for Nursing leaders, MAs, and other interested early career emerging leaders in preparation to assume an informal leader role (ie Preceptor, Charge Nurse, Shared Gov, Med Group Lead and UAP roles)
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Evaluate how patient experience impacts the patient, teammate and the organization.
- Define emotional intelligence as a skillset for dealing with the emotional labor of a job.
- Describe the principles of safe communication practices
