Evidence Based Competencies for Nurses in Healthcare: Module 4- Pre-appraised evidence and critical appraisal (Competencies 5-8)

The purpose of this module is to assist the learner in identifying sources of AAH pre-appraised evidence, participating in the critical appraisal of pre-appraised evidence, participating in the critical appraisal of published research studies to determine strength and applicability to practice, participating in the evaluation and synthesis of a body of evidence gathered to determine strength and applicability to clinical practice, and collecting practice data systematically as internal evidence for clinical decision-making in the care of individuals, groups and populations.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

1.Identifies sources of AAH pre-appraised evidence​
