End User Experience & Patient Safety Recorded Session

This presentation will discuss the end user experience and usability of electronic health records and how these concepts impact patient safety.

Target Audience

This course is intended for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to

  • Recall federal regulations for hazardous drugs
  • Outline the approach for safe handling and storage of hazardous medications
  • Examine the role of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in teammate safety
  • Evaluate additional containment and decontamination products used in sterile compounding
