EBP Emergency Department Journal Club 2023: Pain Assessment by Emergency Nurses at Triage in the Emergency Department: A Qualitative Study
The purpose of the journal club is to engage nurses in learning about evidence-based practices and integrate those best practices into their clinical practice. The implementation of evidence-based practices will lead to improved patient outcomes.
Target Audience
This course is intended for Nurses.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Identify the effects of assessing pain as a symptom in triage and determine if the pain the patient is experiencing is associated with a more critical issue.
- Complete the quiz with an 80% or higher, if less than 80%, the quiz can be retaken
