Easy as A, B, E: Updates in the 2023 COPD Guidelines
This presentation will provide an overview of the 2023 GOLD chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) guidelines. A focus on the pharmacist role in stable COPD management, treatment of COPD exacerbations, and COPD prevention will also be discussed.

- Recognize the new definition and diagnosis of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
- Evaluate the management of a stable COPD patient
- Develop an appropriate pharmacologic treatment plan for a patient experiencing a COPD exacerbation
- Analyze the pharmacist role in the prevention and management of patients with COPD
