Target Audience
This course is intended for Emergency Department clinical teammates such as physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and paramedics.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Apply evidence-based practices to real-world emergency scenarios.
- Describe the different symptoms of a tick-borne illness.
- Identify the current trends for drugs of abuse.
- Apply at least one self-care technique.
- Identify one Advocate Health resource available for teammate support.
- Recognize critical signs of decompensation after a drowning or near-drowning event.
