Drug Fever in the Critically Ill: Recognition and Management Pearls Recorded Presentation

Fever in the critically ill population occurs in up to 26-88% of patients. Identification of the etiology of fever is essential to management.  Drug-induced fever is a diagnosis of exclusion that is often overtreated with other medications. This presentation will review the definition and causes of fever, the contribution of different medications as well as diagnosis and management of drug fever.
