Cultural Competence and Cultural Humility in the Clinical Environment Course Recorded Presentation

This webinar will serve as an introduction to cultural competency, cultural humility and how they interact in the clinician environment. In order to serve our patients better, we must provide patient centered care. 

The law requires licensees to complete a one-hour CE course related to Cultural Competency training and is effective for all renewals on or after January 1, 2025. 

Target Audience

This course is intended for nursing, physicians, physician assistance, and other health care professionals.  

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Define Cultural Competence and Cultural Humility
  • Discuss its importance using a patient centered approach
  • Identify ways to provide culturally competent care for all of our patients
