Create a Positive Patient Experience 2023 February
Create a Positive Patient Experience is an interactive training focusing on improving patient experience through compassion, communication, listening and explaining, along with AAH values. Virtual or In-person courses will guide team members in providing the best patient experience.
This activity is being held in-person at ASC Pleasant Prairie South 1 Conference Room. There is a virtual option in Microsoft Teams as well. A Microsoft Teams meeting join link will be provided after you have registered for enrollment in Workday. Note that this area is for claiming CE credit only.
Target Audience
This course is intended for all new clinical team members including Nurses, CNAs, and other interested clinical team members within the Racine Kenosha Patient Service Area.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Demonstrate awareness of behaviors, and proper use of them, to create an optimum patient experience, which also drives patient loyalty
- Provide compassion to form the patient experience.
- Utilize communication as a tool to build trust and create an optimum patient experience.
- Perform Service Recovery using LAST (Listen, Apologize, Solve, Thank).
