Compassionate Self-Care 2025: March

This interactive activity uses photographs and poetry to help clinicians express their feelings and emotions in a safe space. By practicing how to create a dialogue for oneself, one will be able to recognize and respond to emotional triggers by learning to create a personalized form of sustainable self-care, ultimately leading to improved well-being and increased overall satisfaction.

Target Audience

This course is intended for Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center registered nurses and other interested healthcare teammates.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify at least (1) coping or therapeutic mechanism based on evidence or clinical expertise that will allow learners to communicate and to accept emotional turbulence and resolution.
