Code Narrator Simulation ALGH 2025: March 3
Overview
This program is designed to provide support to the bedside nurse in understanding and performing documentation of a medical code using the code narrator in the electronic medical record.
Target Audience
This course is intended for Registered Nurses at LGH.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Demonstrate use of the code narrator in EPIC
- Describe the documentation required during a medical code
- Identify medications commonly used in medical codes
- Summarize the importance of EtCO2 or End Tidal Co2
