From Chaos to Clotting: A Review of Trauma-Induced Coagulopathy
This continuing education topic centers around trauma-induced coagulopathy (TIC). In this presentation, we will delve into the diagnosis of coagulopathy, pharmacological management, and conduct a comprehensive literature review encompassing trials that shape our evidence-based decision-making processes. By the conclusion of this presentation, the audience will have the capacity to appreciate the pathophysiology of TIC, engage in discussions concerning treatment strategies for patients with coagulopathy, and monitor patients experiencing TIC.
