CCRN/PCCN Certification Review Course 2024
Dr. Mila Sprouse will be presenting a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification review course for the Critical Care, Progressive Care nurses who are interested in content and test taking strategies for certification.
Target Audience
This course is intended for Critical Care and Progressive care nurses who are working towards their CCRN or PCCN certification.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Identify the CCRN/PCCN certification process and examination criteria.
- Describe that CCRN/PCCN certifications are specialized for nurses caring for or influence the care of acutely/critically ill adults.
- Apply current practice guidelines of cardiovascular, endocrine, renal, gastrointestinal, behavioral/psychosocial, hematologic/immunologic, neurologic, pulmonary, and multisystem conditions and use the Synergy Model.
- Review how synergy is achieved when patient’s needs and characteristics align with nurse competencies.
- Describe test taking strategies.
