Please join us for two wonderful leaders who will share their expertise in nursing practice. The first speaker will explore how to differentiate quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research as it applies to nursing practice. The second speaker will focus on the Advocate priority of “Best Place to Care” as part of the Nursing Strategic plan.

 

This conference is being held in person and virtually.

Target Audience

This course is intended for nurses.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Differentiate between quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research to select the appropriate framework for clinical questions
  2. Apply different levels of evidence using the hierarchy of evidence rating system
  3. Apply internal and external evidence sources to clinical inquiry questions and apply both types of evidence to nursing practice
  4. Identify “Best Place to Care” as a priority initiative in the Advocate Health Nursing Strategic plan
