The 1.5-hour OB Sepsis Escape Room simulation provides a fun opportunity to challenge your sepsis knowledge. Critical thinking, teamwork, and communication will be crucial skills needed to save the patient and escape the room! The intended audience for this simulation is adult population OB RNs.
Target Audience
This course is intended for Nursing (adult population in the OB areas).
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- List at least 2 signs/symptoms of sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock.
- Describe 1-2 key anticipated interventions for a patient with sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock and apply to applicable treatment plans in clinical practice.
- Apply evidence-based methods for improving care to sepsis patients in current clinical practice.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills by completing the Escape Room before the time runs out.
