This presentation is designed to identify and implement strategies to provide individualized care of the patient and family experiencing a perinatal loss in the hospital setting.

This conference is being held in person.

NOTE: Please note this activity will be presented 8:00am – 4:30pm CST / 9:00am - 5:30pm EST

Target Audience

This course is intended for nurses, social workers and chaplains involved in the clinical and non-clinical aspects of caring for a patient and their families experiencing perinatal loss.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe the key elements of the Perinatal Bereavement Care Model and Standards of Care.
  2. Apply evidence-based methods related to perinatal loss.
