This course is intended for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Respiratory Care and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Analyze the latest advancements in lung cancer diagnostics, including low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) and robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, to improve early detection and diagnostic accuracy.
- Apply best practices in pathology optimization for lung biopsies, utilizing techniques that enhance the precision and diagnostic yield of bronchoscopic procedures.
- Evaluate advanced imaging technologies in pulmonary oncology, including emerging lung imaging modalities, to support accurate diagnosis and inform treatment planning.
- Identify disparities and gaps in lung cancer diagnostics and treatment, and develop strategies to improve access to innovative technologies and specialized care.
