Target Audience
This course is intended for Physician, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Sonographers and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Identify normal fetal anatomy and biometry to perform accurate ultrasound measurements and assess fetal growth
- Analyze ultrasound findings of fetal anomalies involving the cardiac, central nervous system, gastrointestinal and renal systems and formulate a differential diagnosis.
- Assess ultrasound findings of abnormal gynecologic anatomy, including uterine leiomyoma, adenomyosis, endometriosis, and cesarean scar niche.
- Evaluate ultrasound findings of adnexal masses and use appropriate risk stratification systems.
- Develop proficiency in sonographic techniques for early pregnancy evaluation and apply standardized terminology and lexicon in ultrasound reporting and communication.
