Advanced Preceptor Development 2025: December 11

Advanced Preceptor Development is a live, virtual class designed to engage Advocate Health Preceptors in advanced knowledge, skills, and behaviors. The course supports the development of experienced preceptors and assists to identify actionable strategies to implement in the role of preceptor.

This course is being held virtually.

NOTE: Please note this activity will be presented 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. CST / 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. EST

Target Audience

This course is intended for Nurses, Medical Assistants, and all interested clinical teammates in the role of a preceptor with 1 or more years of precepting experience who have attended a foundational training course.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify one actionable strategy to use in their role as a preceptor.
