Teammates will practice establishing roles, identifying abnormal cardiac rhythms, and intervening according to advanced cardiac life support algorithms using rapid cycle deliberate practice simulation to improve patient outcomes during code events.

Target Audience
This course is intended for medical-surgical, critical care, and emergency services nurses who have completed their ACLS training.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Demonstrate appropriate use of the defibrillator in a code event
- Discuss basic contents of an emergency cart (crash cart)
- Assemble a bag-valve-mask device and emergency medications in a code from the emergency cart, if applicable to role
- Identify and manage abnormal cardiac rhythms incorporating ACLS protocols
- Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication during a code event, including roles and use of safety tools and tactics
