ACH Transport Team Simulations 2023: STABLE Refresher Simulation: 10/19/2023
The ACH Pediatric Transport Team will be conducting simulations to review standing transport protocols. This course will be offered three different dates/times:
September 14,2023 0800-0930;0930-1100;1100-1230;1230-1400;1400-1530
October 19,2023 0800-0930;0930-1100;1100-1230;1230-1400;1400-1530
October 26,2023 0800-0930;0930-1100;1100-1230;1230-1400;1400-1530
Target Audience
This course is intended for ACH Transport team nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and other interested ACH Transport teammates
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Identify ways to support the neonate in accordance with ACH transport guidelines to achieve normothermia
- Examine assessment findings and notify physician accordingly
- Demonstrate appropriate interventions as related to STABLE principles
- Identify the need for appropriate developmental support of the newborn
